Dr. King Alexander, President of CSULB, encouraged the
Latino Academy students to continue their
university education and personally invited them to consider
CSULB when they are ready.

Dr. Victor Rodriguez, Department Chair of the Chicano Latino Studies at CSULB (4th from left, front row) made it possible to provide CSULB Chicano classes to the Bakersfield students to learn more about their history, culture, and potential future and his support was indispensable for the success of thee program. Everyone connected with the Latino Academy has deep gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Rodriguez's support. |
