Celebrate
and learn about Día de los Muertos
Local families will display family altars in the museum's garden area, in
celebration of Día de los Muertos. These altars, normally constructed in
private homes in honor of deceased loved-ones, will be on display to the
general public as part of the Museum's Día de los Muertos exhibition. Come
and learn about this unique holiday.
4 p.m. - History of Día de Los Muertos, presentation by Dr. Jess Nieto, in
the banquet hall of the museum.
